FIFA summit sets to benefit Tanzanian football



THE Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has said that the FIFA summit which was held in Dar es Salaam yesterday under President Giani Infantino will benefit Tanzanian football especially in terms of infrastructure.
TFF Secretary GeneralWilfred Kidao said in an interview that the federation has used the meeting in a positive way as they have had many agreements with CAF and FIFA officials.
Kidao said that he had a conversation with FIFA Secretary Fatma Diouf Samoura and the world football's governing body pledged to build around nine stadiums across the country.
“Fifa has promised to help TFF in various issues including building stadiums, hostels and support youth and women football development.
“This is a very good fortune to Tanzanian football, will help youth football and make it easy for players to reach their dreams especially in playing professional football,” he said.
Kidao also added that the summit has introduced Tanzania to the world football as all stakeholders now eye the country.
