Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has voted for David De Gea and Antonio Valencia in his PFA team of the year.
It's that time of the year where players are asked to nominate their Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and a team of XI who have impressed the most this season.
And with rules dictating the Belgium international cannot vote for any of his soon to be the title-winning City teammates he is forced to pick from his rivals.
De Bruyne showed a picture of his voting slip to BT Sports reporter Des Kelly and eagle-eyed viewers spotted he had voted for two United players.
De Gea was given the goalkeeper spot while Valencia was nominated as the best right-back in the league this season.
Tottenham's Jan Vertonghen, Burnley player James Tarkowski, and Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso made up De Bruyne's defense.
The Belgium international isn't the first player who's revealed he's voted for De Gea.
Leicester and former United defender Danny Simpson revealed his voting slip on his Twitter page and De Gea was the only United player to make the cut after another impressive season at Old Trafford.
The Spaniard has been named in the team of the year for the past three seasons and his performances this season could see him land the accolade for the fourth season on the spin.
The individual award appears to be a two horse race between De Bruyne and Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.
While De Bruyne believes he would be a deserving recipient of the award, he can't vote for himself so explained to BT Sport he had voted for Liverpool's Egyptian attacker instead.
"I voted for Salah for footballer of the year because he deserves it," he said. "If it’s nobody from our team I think Salah deserves it."
