Chelsea player ratings: Rudiger woeful as toothless Blues endure Leicester stalemate

Thibaut Courtois
Was busy early in the game and made a vital diving save to deny Wilfred Ndidi from opening the scoring.
Had less to do in the second half, especially when Leicester were down to ten men. But he did his job in the first half. 7
Cesar Azpilicueta
In the early running was completely out of sorts with Cahill, Jamie Vardy giving them a real run around at the back.
Had quite a bit of possession in the second half when Leicester had ten, but his crossing wasn't really on point. 5
Gary Cahill
Was given a really tough time of it with Vardy, the striker often getting behind him and getting through on goal. Put in a couple of early blocks that were crucial.
However, his afternoon finished early as he had to come off with a hamstring injury after half an hour. 4
Antonio Rudiger
Had a woeful first half and given a torrid time of it by Riyad Mahrez. Often faced up on his own against the Algerian and often tore apart by him.
In the second half Mahrez seemed to drift off him a bit more and go more central, giving Rudiger a bit of a breather. 3
Victor Moses
Couldn't get in the game at all and was really looked after well by Ben Chilwell in the first half.
In the second he had more time in possession, with the wide areas a bit more free. However, he did nothing with it to help influence the game. 4
Tiemoue Bakayoko
Defensively pretty good, winning the ball well and breaking up the play. However, offered little with the ball at his feet and was still frustrating when he had it. 5
N'Golo Kante
Worked very hard against his former side and often there was a gaping hole in midfield in front of him to try to navigate. Wilfred Ndidi had a good game up against him and it was a tough afternoon for the midfielder. 6
Cesc Fabregas
Some sloppy passes in the middle of the park and really there was a massive hole left by him attacking more. Not a great day for the Spaniard and subbed early in the second half.
A couple of decent efforts in the first period, one drawing a very good save from Kasper Schmeichel. 5
