Man Utd: want to sell David de Gea to Real Madrid on one condition

DAVID DE GEA has told Real Madrid he wants to sign for them this summer but Manchester United say he can only leave if they receive one of three players in return, according to reports.
Diario Gol are reporting that De Gea has spoken to Madrid president Florentino Perez about driving a move in the summer transfer window, in addition to informing his agent of desire to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
De Gea has long been linked with the La Liga giants and almost joined them in August 2015 on a dramatic transfer deadline day, the deal only falling through because of a supposedly faulty fax machine.
But the Spanish outlet report that United, and in particular Jose Mourinho, will not let the shot-stopper go easily despite his desire to leave Old Trafford and be No 1 for Madrid.
De Gea - arguably the best goalkeeper in the world - reportedly knows that Mourinho has drawn up a three-man shortlist of players he would accept in return.
Were Real Madrid to offer attacking playmakers Marco Asensio or Isco or former United target and central midfielder Toni Kroos within a deal then they would allow De Gea to leave.

Diario Gol do not report whether or not United would still demand a huge fee for the Spain international.
But they do suggest that De Gea has looked to force through the move with unreasonable demands in contract extension negotiations with the Premier League side.
They suggest that in talks with United he has asked for impossible terms that would make him one of the world’s highest-paid players.
And that is so that De Gea can make it easier to push for a switch to Zinedine Zidane’s side before the start of the 2018-19 season.
Real Madrid are reportedly willing to pay around £70 million for the 27-year-old, a product of the academy system of rivals Atletico Madrid.
Despite the current inflated state of the transfer market, Los Blancos believe that price as more than fair given that Manchester City’s Ederson - at £34.7 million - is the most expensive ‘keeper ever.
Their fee for De Gea would therefore double the current biggest fee ever spent on a goalkeeper and the second most United have ever received, behind the £80 million Real paid for Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.
