Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos couldn't resist letting his frustrations out as he raged at his team-mates for their part in a late equaliser by Levante on Saturday.
The 2-2 draw has piled another heap of pressure onto the shoulders of Real manager Zinedine Zidane, who watched as his side conceded more ground on their rivals with their spot in next season's Champions League also coming under threat.
Ramos, who scored the opener for Real in the first half, was left helpless as substitute Giampaolo Pazzini was put through on goal to score an 89th-minute equaliser for the home side.
As the Real players, as well as manager Zinedine Zidane stood motionless in shock, Ramos directed the blame at his team-mates as Pazzini wheeled off in celebration.
Full back Marcelo took the blunt of the criticisms for his part in the leveller as Ramos criticised his mobility in the build up to the goal.
Translations suggest that the 31-year-old defender said: 'This cannot be, we are winning 2-1. A 50-50 and nobody sticks their foot in and after that... Marcelo, you are too static!'
Marcelo refused to grant Ramos' accusations with a response though, as he simply shrugged off his captain's claims as Real headed for yet more dropped points.
The draw was Real's sixth of the season and saw them miss a chance to move above Valencia and up to third in La Liga with the top two spots left to be contested by leaders Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Zidane's European champions have even suffered in the Champions League having qualified from their group second to Tottenham in November. With only European glory still to play for, Ramos concluded the season as 'one of our worst years.'
'We will continue fighting to stay as high as possible. The Champions League and the rest of the season should serve to try to recompose the group,' the 31-year-old said, as per Goal.
'It is not normal to be at this distance. Something we have done wrong, letting out many points in games that were controlled. It has been one of our worst years.'
