So, for now, there begins the chain of speculation. Galaxy S9 is said to be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, while the Infinity Display will be there like on the Galaxy S8. This South Korean premium smartphone venture is further speculated to come with advanced screen coating to actively repel water and lift the bars. As little we know about the specs, there is a recent report by XDA Developers that S9 may come with 4GB RAM and new Android 8.0 Oreo.
Considering Galaxy S series is the flagship series of Samsung and is one of the most popular in the smartphone market, it will be interesting to see how Samsung tops the success of its S8 and S8 Plus, both of which, apart from fingerprint sensor have received a good praise.
