Gonzalo Higuain spent seven seasons at Real Madrid, but he is remembered for one moment above all.
It was the last 16 of the 2009/10 Champions League and Los Blancos were desperate to make the quarter-finals for the first time in six years, but they ended up being eliminated by Lyon after the Argentine striker wasted a very good chance at a key moment, one which hit the post.
That miss ended up eclipsing all of the good he did during his time in the Spanish capital.
He had some memorable performances and scored a total of 121 goals, with 29 coming in that 2009/10 season, but he always seemed to lack something and was misunderstood by the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
In total, he won three league titles, two Supercopas de Espana and one Copa del Rey, but he couldn't deliver in Europe, where Real Madrid's seasons are defined.
His entourage accused Real Madrid of not showing Higuain enough affection and he was let go in 2013 when Gareth Bale arrived to make a BBC front three alongside Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Undeterred, he sought to resurrect his career at Napoli, who paid 40 million euros for him, when he had arrived at Real Madrid for 12 euros.
With almost 100 goals in three years, he was signed by Juventus for 90m euros and he keeps scoring in Turin, even if most of the goals are in domestic competition.
This Wednesday evening he'll hope to come up with his most special European night, as he and his teammates seek to pull off a remarkable comeback after losing 3-0 in the first leg of their quarter-final clash against the current European champions.
This will be his first match back at the Estadio Santiago Bernabe and his third against his former club, who won 4-1 in Cardiff and 3-0 last week.
