Max Allegri lost Higuain after 15 minutes, as he fell awkwardly after a very early collision with Salvatore Sirigu and limped off.
According to initial reports, Higuain has only suffered a knock to the ankle rather than a sprain, which bodes well for a quick recovery.
Bernardeschi replaced him and provided the assist for Alex Sandro’s decisive goal, but he too limped off in the final minutes.
