Former US president Barack Obama is to meet with Chinese president Xi Jinping in Beijing today, just weeks after Mr Trump's first trip to Asia as president.
According to VOA China, Obama has commenced a three-nation tour with stops in China, India and France, during which he will have discussions with Xi and Indian prime minister Narendra Modi.
Just two weeks after President Trump held a summit with Xi in Beijing, Obama kicked off his trip on Tuesday in Shanghai, where he gave a speech at the 3rd Global Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Summit. On Wednesday, he will participate in the Global Education Summit 2017 in Beijing
